Merri was shown by Julie at the Tuscaloosa Kennel Club show in AL on April 7 and finished with a 4 point major. She won Winner's Bitch and Best of Winners!
We are a small family breeder of Havanese located on a 26 acre farm south of the Atlanta, GA area. We have occasional litters of Havanese puppies available. All of our Havanese puppies are raised indoors where they get constant love and socialization from us and our three young children. Our adult Havanese are our beloved family pets, and they also live in our house and take part in our daily lives. Havanese come in all colors and are intelligent, easy going little "mop" dogs that form a strong bond with their people and are wonderful companions. We discovered the Havanese breed several years ago when we were looking for a small family dog that our preteen daughter could show. Our first Havanese puppy, "Prissy," met all of our expectations about the breed and quickly became such an important part of our family, that we wanted more. Our daughter showed Prissy in AKC Jr. Handling competitions a couple of times, but eventually lost interest in the sport as her life began to be filled with other activities. We were still fascinated with the idea of showing our dogs, though, and felt that it had the potential to be a great family hobby for all of us. We were fortunate to purchase our male Havanese Noblegold Windyhill Teddy Bear "Teddy" from Nancy Noble of Noblegold Havanese in Helen, GA. Teddy quickly grew into a stunning teen and adult and surpassed all of our expectations by finishing with his AKC Champion title in just three weekends. He had all major wins and is truly an exceptional dog.
